Not to be a dick, but...so what? You say it like YOU had it horribly bad. My friend was in the hospital with kidney stones and a bloody dick on his birthday. Afterwards, he was pretty optimistic about all it. Mainly to just be out of the hospital and not bleed down there.

Last time I had a birthday party was yeeears ago when my dad was still around. After he passed, pretty much every birthday after it was plain hell. I never complained, I didn't mind celebrating it aside from noting I'm another year older...

Seriously, grow the fuck up. Sorry your special day wasn't all that special, but all this is overdoing it. You'll have other birthdays, so what if this one wasn't good, that's life. And reason I'm putting in my two cents into this, if because of all the baby craddlers that are all "Oh you poor thing *hug*" which I find utter crap. When I find lots of comments saying that, it sounds like someone is trying to get attention for something bad that happened to them and want to feel sorry for themselves.

I'm not trying to bash you and call you a butthurt baby, but you're 22 now so don't you think you should act a little more mature than to complain about people not saying "happy birthday?" As for the friends, if they treat you like crap, they aren't friends. And I hope you can learn to ditch the lowlife users so you don't end up with a shitstreak like that same hospitalized friend does with all his girlfriends.

If it makes ya feel better I worked overtime at work, and forgot the only "gift" a random customer in the drive thru gave to me.
luckily it was till there. but still.
I had to trek in the 100 degree weather to get a cake that melted halfway to home... in a bus full of smelly people. ( I mean, cut your nose off smelly)
