Yes, I made a new one.
I've spent the last few months on and off trying to work out some sort of drawing to replace my year old backpatch on my leather jacket. The old one was something I did back when I had practically no skill, so naturally I hate it now. A lot of the designs I went through for a new backpatch all ended looking awful, but this one came out really well actually. I'll most likely end up doing it over digitally some day soon, but for now I'm going to keep the traditional touch-up job here and use it as my new Profile ID. After all, it makes a better representation of the current style of drawings I do myself than that older digital one.
Chances are most folks here never seen my 'sona in Punk attire like such, but truth is I occasionally draw him like that when I'm not using him for anything more adult related. Because, y'know, it's a subculture I've followed and identified with heavily for the last several years of my life, and has had an immense positive influence on me through the time, so why wouldn't I also make my 'sona a Punk? If it isn't obvious enough, it's what helped influence the spike mohawk design. I try not to mix the whole Punk stuff with the more adult themed art that I usually get, though. Personally, I don't enjoy the idea of fetishizing the subculture that I've grown to love so much. Most I do share of the interest is the occasional song links in the descriptions of commissions that nobody ever reads.
Anyhow, for anyone curious, the image itself was heavily inspired by the band Síndrome (Del Punk)'s self titled album with a cover that features the same pose. Might I suggest giving them a try by listening to one of my personal favorites by them, Punk Suicida.
