I'm uploading only SOME of my PQ2 stuff here. If you want to see the rest please visit my DA gallery: http://ashalind.deviantart.com/gallery/
This is final character art for the very addictive video game Puzzle Quest 2 which hits the U.S shelves today (22.06.10)!
Unlike the typical D&D one, my version has it's palms facing the right way.

he could also serve as a were-tiger, or an everquest cat. awesome work on pose, body language, expression, details and whatnot! ^^
the typical D&D rakshasa is derived from old indian/southeast asian myths where rakshasa disguised as humans are easily recognizable by their hands with the palms facing outwards. :)
but who says one shouldn't play with ancient myths? ^^

Oh wonderful, love the pose! Too bad I don't have a ds, I enjoyed the puzzlequest game I had for psp! Plus it would always be wonderful to have a game with art of someone I know out there! Happy to see you working on such things! I had no clue you worked for a game studio :D!
Having given the DS version a go, I must say how good the various hand-drawn art looks. I was a bit irked, however, by the lower portion of enemies (including the feet of mister rakshasa here) being covered up by bands of "parchment" at the top and bottom of the screen that don't really do anything.
