Planetary Summary:

Elladion, the sole Exoplanet of the Klessian solar system.
Former Rogue Planet ejected from its home system millions of years ago.
Currently Orbits: Kless (Red Dwarf Star) on the outskirts of a distant galaxy.

- Elladion has no discernible moons, but does possess a “ring” made up of asteroids and other debris from a cataclysmic impact that occurred the distant past.

- Internally heated via volcanic activity. Landmass is mostly composed of metamorphic and igneous rock formations, with the exception of two supermassive “lakes'' that make up a larger underground aquatic system on the planet's surface.

- Landmass is quadruple the size of earth, and due to its off-grid position and thick atmosphere- has been mistakenly classified as a Jovian exoplanet (gas giant) by other extraterrestrials.

- Orbits Kless (Red Dwarf) relatively close, but the thick Ozone and cloud layer obstructs most UV rays from reaching the surface. Rare moments when the sunlight does pierce the clouds are natural disasters called ‘sunspots’, which can scorch the ground and burn/kill organic life. Temperature fluctuations are intense and unpredictable.

- Days / concept of “years” do not exist like on earth in terms of rotation of the planet, as it is so quick / the sun is rarely seen properly. Instead, time is measured by periodic tectonic shifts called “Rhythms”. These underground vibrations are so noticeable that, with training, one can read the approximate time by holding a hand to the ground and counting out the ‘beats’.

- Atmosphere primarily consists of ash, ice, hydrogen, oxygen, radioactive materials, and helium. Snowfall and rainfall are common at the poles, but rarer inland. Windstorms are prevalent, and wind speeds rarely drop below 20-30 MPH. Planet is constantly in perpetual night due to the atmosphere, though this may range to “twilight” depending on the thickness.

-Plants and animals are rare, and found only on certain areas of the planet. Sycans and their aquatic cousins, the Orchades, are the remaining native fauna on Elladion; the rest having gone extinct from a mass extinction in the distant past. All other biodiversity is made up of alien life or are constructs of the bio-organic material known as Mana.

-Native plant life is rough, low-growing, and adapted to growth in low-light conditions. The only exception is aquatic plants, which resemble seaweed and corals.
