This lace was around the old hotel, not the new one. I didn't eat out enough this last con to scope out new restaurants.

Ah okay, i think i remember/seen that pho place around the old con location of the airport district it use to be at.

Gotta hit that place up sometime, big ass bowls of soup sounds good.

As for the new location, there is lots of food places around, maybe next time around you can explore more, and go eat around downtown, being local myself, i know some of the good food joints to hit up. :p

Seems like every such place like that I've been too also has similar portion sizes. I think soup constitutes a major staple of their cuisine :P
