The Yhorne had been banished from the eastern plains of Kharria with the aftermath of the first Lantern War. Taumiers people were severed from the Kandil Voin, the core of power they tended across the land... and their love for the people and creatures that dwelled there. Some of the Yhorne had survived the reckoning of the Tierdanist but not the severing of ties. Taumier wandered along the border of the Tarjim mountains, often in tears for the age that was lost long ago. Never able to move on with the chaos of world that had scarred him. Yhorne had been taught to hold order in the sway of the universe, to guide it artfully as their Ylmar masters, but the Yhorne were of the mortal world, and some of their wounds would never heal.
