You are playing Reader Rabbit: Preschool (Carousel Edition) to revive childhood memories, specifically, at the Counting Club. There, you are looking at Tally the Counting Cat. She’s beautiful, but what’s even more beautiful are her feet. Suddenly, she looks directly at you and says:
“What, are you looking at my feet? You like them, don’t you?”
Nervously, you nod yes.
“How about if we play with them?”
With a jump, she comes out of the screen.
“Are you ready?” Tally asks you. “Game one. Kiss my toes, and count them one by one as you do.”
(pretend you kiss her toes while counting them)
“Game two. I have ten toes, five in each foot, but if I scrunch three on one foot, and three on the other, how many toes will still be standing up?”
(answer in the comments)
“Game three. I’m having a pedicure. If each one of my toenails require three cuts to be short, how many cuts would it take in total to cut all of my toenails?
(answer in the comments)
“Game four. Go ahead. Sniff my feet. Quite smelly, aren’t they? They usually get like that after I go out jogging for half an hour. So, if I go to the park to jog for two hours, how many times do I have to multiply the time I mentioned before?”
(answer in the comments)
“Game five. Lick my foot as much as you want. When you finish, tell me how many licks you gave to my foot.”
(you start licking her sole and afterward, you tell her the number of licks)
“Good. Now, start with the other foot, please.”
(you lick the other sole and afterward, you tell her the number of licks)
Now, adding the licks of both feet, how many licks did you give my feet in total?
(answer in the comments)
“Last game. It’s time for you to rate my feet! Here are some star stickers for you to paste to my soles.”
(you paste certain number of star stickers to her soles, depending on the rating you give to her feet)
“How many times would you like to multiply this number of stars?”
(answer in the comments)
“Then, how many stars would it be in total?”
(answer in the comments)
“That was fun! Come around next time. I will have more fun math games to play with you! See you again!”
(she jumps through the screen and returns to her game)
You can’t wait to play with Tally the Counting Cat again!
