I saw how the sunset was hitting the top of this flower and tried to keep the center in focus as much as I could. The anthers have this plushy texture and I like how every thing else is cast slightly in shadow.

I used a Sigma 70/300mm with Macro capability... I don't have a "True macro" lens but I still like what I can manage with my zoom lens. One day when I got lots and lots of Money..... :) I'll get a few true Macro lenses. I'm looking to eventually upgrade to the K7 and I'm going to get a bunch of higher grade Sigma lenses for when I go over seas. I haven't been able to find a higher grade zoom that won't break the bank at the moment.
