lunaticmoth and I have a cat named Indy.She found him in a box in a parking lot, abandoned, when he was a kitten.
Indy is about four years old. He got sick recently and had to go to the vet. He is mostly better, but it was very expensive, and he will need to go back for rechecks.
I am going to hold a sketch marathon this saturday, June 26th, to raise money for his medical bills, and also as a fun thing for those of us who aren't able to go to AC this year.

It's also hardly begging for money. Although outright begging is sometimes unavoidable, I always have respect for people who try to raise money in cool, creative or helpful ways. And in this case, Mr Badger'll be pretty much working his fingers (and possibly his mental health) raw. So yes, even if you didn't have the money there wouldn't be anything ignominious about it.

Poor sick kitty :( Idk what's been up with people's cats getting sick lately. Another friend of mine just went through it, AND my niece's cat was just laid up at the vet bc his flea stuff poisoned him. Barely made it too.. it cost my sis $700!
