Some humans had an issue with Akiko wandering around, so she figured that making clothes out of her silk would deal with the problem. Hopefully her being a gigantic moth monster wasn't the issue.

as long as she disconnects her skirt from her abdomen so it doesn't unravel and stays clear of areas were she might cause property damage she should be fine

I was afraid of that but live and learn from the drawings I’ve seen so far it doesn’t seem like she’s able to fully turn off silk production
