Love me some skimpy armor. Love it, need it, gotta have it. Even in MMOs, I find the skimpiest piece of armor imaginable and if you can transmog it, you best believe my character's running around in as little as possible. Rest of you can take your realism and need for full coverage heavy armor to your own sides of the internet. Stuff kills you in 2 hits anyway. Doesn't make sense to wear such highly polished, shiny papier-mâché.
