well i think the bands look rather sexy ;) lmao XD and considering you don't like random splodges of colour why don't you give her a birthmark of somet??? like my friend had a pawprint birth mark on one of her characters, another a love heart. Could try a star or somet else that's more relevant?? Just random suggestions XD or you could like give her like purple tipped paws or feet, tail or ears, to match the hair lol XD xxx

i see what u mean but its really not bad. its actually becoming one of my more favorite sonna ive seen on here if wanna get her down wright try puting her in some diffrent poses and get a feel for her at all angles and the rest should then to come togeather.......when u got her down from all angles it should help u figure out what kinda extra detail would look good from not just one but most not if all angles

The ideas are interesting, but I don't know. I'm with Furin, I'm not a fan of overcomplicated markings or markings just for their own sake. I mean I'm pretty plain myself, though I've thought the ones under her eyes seemed to work already. But then again it's your own sona. :D

Mmm, you're sexy wif or wifout the markings :3, at the end of the day it's what you want your character to look like.

When I make a character with specific markings that's not natural to the animal, usually I try to give it some sort of meaning towards the character, either personality or what they like to do sort of thing just for fun.

So, is there some sort of 'theme' you're going for with the circles around the upper arms and thighs, or that's just what you were playing around with? :3

Well, I'd like markings that help show the form of my 'sona, the curves of her body and muscles and such :) At the moment she's all a single color, so she kind of blends together into a big lump.

Mmm, well if you want to use lines to do that, then you'll want lines going down her back and front as well that follow her curve and let the eye see it :3

I think you should stick to the bands because if you try to do too much then it will just become too much of a pain to draw and then too many markings will stand out way too much and detract from the overall picture.

I really admired Amberli's markings before because of how simple they were. She had all that personality and didn't need 1000 marking to distinguish her from other characters. However, I DO like the direction you've gone here with the bands. They kind of giver her a tribal look, making her a little more
exotic. :3

Now why you gotta go and look all sexy-like on me? x3 But nah, seriously, like everyone is saying, the markings are giving a tribal feel to you, but they are cool as hell, and pretty fun and sexy with the way they are arranged on your character. Also, love the arm tattoos.

I thought the character was fine as she was, but I do like the facial markings. The bands are okay, too, but I don't think they're going to make or break the character.

And definitely keep the purple hair. ^_^
