A sleepy town, Ilzhara doesn't need a large place to accomidate visitors- the very very few they get find it comfortable to stay in the Gildeberg Inn, named after the grandfather of its current owner and keeper, Menart Gildeberg. Though slight and bookish, not to mention excitable and akward, Menart keeps watch at the front desk for any visitors looking to stay. Sure, he may look asleep, but really, he's ready to go!

The addition of Sir Chaytel has been quite an addition to Menart's life- he and his squire have been staying in the Inn for weeks now, but are strangely never to be found there.
