Wanted to make a more fantastical OC rather than just a regular anthro animal. Still wanted to use a relatively simple design though. I chose a canine (its sort of ambiguous whether hes a fox or a wolf) with long ears (since he keeps his eyes closed he should be able to hear well) and a ptarmigan which is a bird that tends to live at high elevations in cold places and has fluffy white feet.

A mountain spirit (spoiler: its actually a volcano) that lives peacefully most of the time meditating at the peak. He uses his long ears to listen to what's happening on his mountain. Occasionally he might fly down to rescue travelers, his clothes are modeled after red flags used to mark safe passages through dangerous terrain.

His brooch and claws are made of obsidian, the brooch has a burning fire inside of it that indicates his mood.

His name is a sort of amalgamation of "fox", "ptarmigan", "volcano", and "magma".
