Here is my photo of Taima, which I posted in the description of my artwork.
She was the daughter of a Pacific Northwest transient male and an Icelandic female. Those transient genes are rare indeed. They live on in her sons Sumar and Tekoa, and in her daugter Malia.
I never thought this was the last time I'd see her.
