FINALLY !
I could not be happier, the final render of the sheet is absolutely amazing ! Showing off my fursona, he is the God of Day in his lore, the aspect of dawn. He is worshipped as Nishant in the West and Arushi in the East but everywhere he is Golden Horizon (imagine it being his title). Oh and yes he likes to shapeshift into an anthro to freely wander the earth in perfect incognito.

Both actually. He is the god of day so when he is doing fine he just changes the sky color and his whole body matches (the markings over his body are the clouds). See him as a live representation of the sky.
If he is emotionally unstable, the time will be broken and his fur and scales will change according to his current emotion. He is very zen so it's extremely rare that his emotions take the best of him .
