Detective Stanley "Blake" Slater is Coyote/German Shepherd mix and an officer from the Beverly Hills Police Department and armed with a Colt 1911 .45 Automatic pistol. Blake is a talented policeman who has a quirky and smart ass personality who craves excitement, and often bends the rules and annoys his boss at his precinct. Blake also has a hard time keeping partners simply because they couldn't keep up with his thrill seeking ways. Despite being a decent cop, Blake is also a bit of a fuck up which also contributes why most of his co-workers hate him so much.

Blake then gets involved with a similar case Sgt. Ash McLane was working on so he is temporally transferred to Los Angeles to work with the tough as nails yeen to bring the criminal mastermind to Justice.

Much like his partner, Blake is a character in a 80's movie that only exists in the "Lookin' Bright" universe.
