I was "tasked" to actually design a custom Chimera based on Jake Pryde's combat style. Though I love how this turned out, there are a few flaws on the design, such as the fact that 1: It's leaning too far back, 2: open head (the cockpit is torso-mounted), and 3: digitgrade legs are not handled well by the Chimera's PSI module. This could be converted into a 'Mech with a partial wing later, though, hence the new name.

Sorry for the trouble dude.
The good thing is that you pointed out something very important I need to add to the rules somehow: Chimeras are totally fixed to human-like movement (otherwise the PSI module couldn't convert the implants' signals 1:1), and their outer shape is supposed to be more the one of a knight or other type of human-like warrior (to oppose the monster-like shape the Clans use for the ProtoMechs in order to cause fear and terror).
As a 'Mech design, however, your Skyfox would be pretty cool, especially with the partial wing. You could go pretty laser happy with this one since you got an additional cooling system because of the wings.

I already have added a few sentences to the rulebook after you had your probs. It covers the most important issues when it comes to drawing an illustration of your unit.
- Human-like movement
- shape should be the one of a knight or some kind of warrior (as Chimeras are supposed to be the opponents to the Clans' beast-like ProtoMechs ;3)
- Pilot sits in the torso, not the head
