A little doodle I did detailing some of Theoryn’s internal organs. And as long as we’re here, why not take a tour?
Mouth: Theoryn boasts an impressive of sharp, slightly jagged teeth fit for an apex predator. But towards the back, he also has a pair of bony plates that crush and grind food, much like a set of molars would, as a nod to his omnivorous, yet mostly meat-dominated diet. His tongue, large and thick with a slight fork at the end, is a light lavender color, unlike the rest of his internal flesh, discolored by a wide variety of taste buds- the perfect tool to get every last little flavor in a meal.
Throat: With a gulp, we move to Theo’s esophagus. A little over seven feet of peristaltic muscle right alongside his trachea, capable of stretching to encompass even the most odd-shaped of meals. On occasion, a powerful gulp has known to break bones- which is even less fun when the sharp pieces jam into the tough-yet-sensitive flesh.
Stomach: Here, undoubtedly, is the main attraction. A big, roomy pouch of abnormally elastic muscle and fleshy folds, Theo’s gut is capable of storing up to twice his body weight in it- not always comfortably. At least, not initially. But once his digestive juices get to work, any meal of his is sure to soften up. Meat, cloth, paper, plastic, bones, metal, crystal... everything gets digested if it can stay in there long enough. Sometimes, though, he’ll burp up a gulped prey if he’s feeling merciful. Or, if he’s knocked queasy by a good one-two-jab to the liver, although that’s a more... messy form of exit, let’s say.
Intestines: Affectionately nicknamed “the waterworks” by the big scalebelly, Theo’s guts are a fleshy labyrinth consisting of an impressive fifty feet of coiled intestine. Initially, it’s a smooth ride- gently pushed along as his body absorbs all the nutrients from his meal. Towards the last twelve feet, though, things turn towards a more... waste-centric processing. Nobody living comes down this way.
Anus: Hey, get away from there! That’s not for you! Ò.=.Ó
Theoryn belongs to me.
If somebody wants to redraw this, maybe color it, feel free!
