Anna wanted a kiss before she would leave, and Rossweisse really wants her to leave right now. But this isn't Rossweisse's area of expertise and of course Anna won't want to leave at all now. Ironically, probably the one thing that would have encouraged Anna to leave easily would have been losing their privacy by having Lilla return.

Ah, good point. I was thinking that Ross' actions seemed counterproductive, since Anna won't leave after that kiss, but Ross would credibly miss that.
