To qoute a german comedian, Diter Nuhr: "The insriances exprets say, that sying is a costyl thing and you should think about yizr funeral and death today...... I for one recommend, Dont do it, really, dont do it!" He meant, planning for his own death and funeral.

Its been implied in the comics Karno's published before that eventually Mink's incredible powers combined with her highly altruistic outlook eventually leads to a religion forming around her, the actual stories have yet to progress that far. (Though I eagerly await more!)

Heh, I've only thought of one or two of my characters kicking the can, a few already did long time back. At least Tina beat the record in her family line as for Mink, she's already said she was effectively immortal, so she'll be shaking her money makers for a long long time.:)

There's one character there for whom this turns out NOT to be the end of the story. But I'll let Karno explain that one...

I got too much stuff going against me to excpet to life past 50 myself, and a lot of my friends, even more so the closer ones, have genetic problems that will probably have them die WELL before me.

I try not to think about mit myself, I figure the more I focus on fun and enjoying myself the better my life will be.

Some might call it morbid, but I too have thoughts to the storys of how my characters die.

Your work is very impressive, not only in technical skill, but the wonderful way you express deep concepts and hard-to-face themes.
I started watching you because your toons were funny, but I see now there's a LOT more to it than funny animals. :)
I really look forward to seeing more of your work.

There is a nice little detail that seems to be missed in the comments.

All of the characters live on.....just not physically. Grandchildren, record books, fame, cults, etc.

That being said, this is why I enjoy your work. For all the "hyperness", your characters are very human.

i like how your able to think like that...i try to every now and again but i just end up freaking myself out and staying up all night thinking about different ways in which i may die x.x

I've done this with most of my characters, too. The interesting ones always do kick it early.

Kinda figured SS would have an ending befitting the name.

This has to be one of the most unique submissions I've ever seen on FA. Or anywhere else for that matter. Most people either avoid the subject of death for their characters or subject all of them to rather gruesome ends. Thank you very much for sharing this piece with us.

To die as one lives . . . or to die as one chooses . . .

You're right, it's best not to fret about death . . . it will come to collect us all eventually, best just to live each day as best we know and pray that when our time comes that we have nothing to regret about as move on to the great unknown that awaits.

Great works . . . giving each character a passing that matches their lives and ways of beings.
