I have been following this individual for about a year now, from before he was collared by the forest service till now. I started with a 18-135 f4.5-5.6 all purpose kit lens on my Fuji X-T1... and now here I am with the 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 on my X-T3, with a 1.4x teleconverter, traipsing along the roadside as this individual moves his heard from the national park through downtown Cherokee. It was actually tragic watching everyone huddle close to these animals, forcing them from one spot to another. I had the luck to be well in front of the heard for this shot. This is shot at 422mm, there is a bit of cropping here, I wanted to better isolate him on his stroll through the parks.
