Lunch Time Fun - Magic Kindergarten Project

The second artwork of this small project that I have been working on about Spike and Goldigony going to Magic Kindergarten is complete! With the experience of the previous drawing this time it was a lot easier to do. However this drawing also took a lot of time to be done, but you have no idea how much fun I had doing it! Initially this wasn't going to be the angle for this scene, but after checking some references I realized that from this point of view the scene was going to look more interesting and the food was going to be more like the main thing of the scene as I wanted. I really love to draw food, it can be difficult but it is really funny to play with colors and the possible ingredients that you add to the stuff, so this was by far my favorite part of the drawing. The perspective was a true challenge for me, I have a lot of troubles with depth perception. I probably failed in applying it properly in some parts of the drawing, however I tried to use Krita tools to get the best possible result.
This time Spike and Goldigony are at the cafeteria line for lunch and they're laughing a little bit (probably because what they are planning to eat that day) while another student of the school is behind them with a face of "What are those dragons laughing about exactly?". It seems that the two baby dragons now have a better relationship after a while being roommates. However... Spike, are you really just going to eat a crystals cupcake for lunch? Oh dear...
So, this was another artwork with four days of work behind, but I feel really proud of it. The result was amazing, better than I could see in my own imagination. And maybe most important, with those drawings Goldigony is somehow looking better and better and I certainly love that!
I simply hope you love it as much as I do! <3

I love it! The name you provided for the picture gave me an idea of what to expect. However you went very much beyond any images that I had within my imagination!
Seeing Spike and Goldigony laughing and going to lunch together is so adorable. It is a great 'Part 2' in building their friendship. Neither baby dragon wants to be sitting by themselves while ponies give them looks that make them feel uncomfortable. By going to lunch together, sitting together, and talking together, Goldigony and Spike are able to make times that they must be around many of the other students a lot easier.

Yes, you're right Yosh. It's pretty possible that those two became friends in lunch time since they started to joke to each other in a kind way and the things started to work out. There are more important details to be commented about this pic, but you'll have the details later :P
