Well, this makes me feel like I need to step up my game now. I had a drawn concept of snakes, but this is just impressive, and I love all the mute tone colors in the background to make the shake just pop out of the image, most excellence.

Woah, Thank you so freaking much! I never thought I'd ever get into drawing snakes regularly... But ever since I joined the AWA team it seems I am turning into a snake artist. xD And man did I have to learn a lot, haha! But that only makes me more happy to receive such a comment. x3 <3

It is most impressive indeed, and more so if each scale is drawn individually and shade also., Never heard of AWA before now, so that is a nice to hear this group has been teaching you.

Hah, guess what! The one teaching about scales in that group is actually me. :P Many people avoid scales, and I totally understand it. But once you got some techniques to make the process easier they can be a lot of fun. And that's why I didn't hesitate drawing them. Didn't take long for people to tag me every time someone asks about advice with scales. xD But I do feel that I improved a lot ever since joining the project. Being surrounded by other skilled artists just makes you try that little bit harder, you know?

I see, I have used scale brushes from photoshop before, that only goes so far for perspective sake doing each scale does seem so tedious, but hey at least it works. Learning the finer points of shading in details is on its own been itself my progress thus far.
I see your art community and it looks nice, by invite. I am not quite there yet.
