Lol, some think they're horns instead of ears ^^; I see them more as ears, though we may never know for sure! Such as there's so much debate about his "second" neck. Thankies! >w<

SO true such as some see the three legondarys from gold and silver as dogs while I myself see them as cats, as for the thing on his neck...I allways thought of it as a tube feeding his mind power into his body or something like that.

I'm totally on the same boat as you! Raikou, Entei, and Suicune are so totally kitty cats! I see nothing canine about them! >A<;
Yeah I also believe that "neck" is to feed more oxygen and blood to his beyond developed brain but there are people who think it's there to provide support cuz his neck is so thin.

meh..ah well...as for Raikou, Entei, and Suicune...it dose say that Entei barks but..come on. Raikou looks like a sabertooth tiger [he has stripes..don't know any dog with stripes] Entei looks like a lion, and Suicune looks like a panther.
