My mom commissioned my friend kalika_futago to draw me this portrait as a graduation gift. It's based on a photograph of me about to start my freshman year, standing outside of the dorm I lived in. :) Though this takes place freshman year, bits and pieces of things that happened later in college are in this drawing, which I think is very neat!
-I got a tattoo of one of those daisies senior year, and Kali did the concept art for it, seen here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2814973/
-The bracelet Mino is wearing is based on a real Scarab bead bracelet Kali got me from Egypt, also senior year. The first time I commissioned her was junior year, and we got to be friends after that!
-While Mino is carrying German books, I actually didn't even take a German class until sophomore year!
That was probably boring, but I wanted to share some background, as it's a very special piece to me.
