Gaia looked over the blasted and scared lands, tears sliding own her cheeks. Suchi clutched her ankle, the little spider monkey just as shocked as she. What had happened here to cause such devastation? Drawing a breath the spirit of the planet stepped into the sundered land, feeling the pain that radiated from it. Her eyes narrowed as she analyzed the flow of energy around her.

A gasp ripped from her throat as she realized that this hadn't been any kind of attack launched by the Eco-villains they'd been dealing with. No, this was far far worse; this was her own power run a muck, of binding sundered, of forces freed, elements unrestrained. Nothing could have survived this, not even her chosen and her champion.

And yet... she still felt their life forces.

From beneath her she felt the steady beat of a heart, from the fires that burned the heat of passion. The wind carried a familiar laugh, and the waters that flowed drew her to them, centering her. and the last... the last was every where and no where.

"I can give you back your lives my chosen." the ancient spirit said as she closed her eyes, delving deep withing her to a place she hadn't touched since the beginning of time. She touched each of them, twisting the elements around them, drawing them back into a form. Slowly, so very slowly....

and then with a bang of soundless sound and light harsher then a nova the working was done.

She raised her hand to shade her eyes against the grit that her working had cast up, and then dropped it as her eyes widened. before her stood her chose, but not as they had been. Each was bonded with their element, all their forms female now.

Steady Kwame shifted on her paws, small tremors vibrating the ground. Wheeler's tail swished as she stood snapping her fingers creating small sparks of fire. and heaven above, Linka was sidling up to the dragon girl, her own wings going around the fire starter with new found passion as puffs of wind blew out the sparks. A splash drew Gaia's attention to the water where Gi was happily danceing across the waves a pair of dolphins tail walking next to her. A squeal of simian joy rang out as Suchi pounced on the final of her chosen, two tails wrapping together as Ma-Ti hugged her companion close.

A hand fell on the spirit's shoulder and she turned in surprise, staring up into the altered face of her champion.
