My Leonin barbarian that was strong enough to wield an anchor for a weapon. She travels around with the Tabaxi gunslinger in a campaign a friend is doing.

Born in Cinnadeep by slave parents Kajira started her life in chains, she grew up being abused and forced to work on a fishing ship. Life sucked for her but that didn't crush her spirits as she worked very hard with all the difficult manual labor she had to partake in. She worked on the ship for until she was 16 before it was attacked by pirates one unfateful day. The slaves were sent first to die and Kajira was able to fight back a good amount of the pirates on her own. But in the end, it didn't matter as most of the other slaves got cut down as the ship's captain named Eric Dunken fled in a lifeboat during the commotion.

Kajira was brought onto the pirate's ship as a captive as they looted the previous boat, kept alive solely because of the fight she put up. The pirate captain named Captain Zeke Dragonbeard of the pirate ship named the Harbinger decided to show Kajira just how cruel he was. He commended her on putting up a fight and said if she could put up one more to decide if she lived. Kajira, of course, agreed if it meant she could live, unfortunately for her instead of fighting someone the fight was far worse than she could imagine. Zeke had his men chain her to an anchor before he gave her a smile and farewell as they threw her overboard.

Kajira sank very deep underwater as air escaped her lungs and she could feel herself dying as she drowned. She struggled and used all her strength to try and break the chains but to no avail, yet something dark and sinister within the depths took interest in her as she drowned on the ocean floor. The being didn't give her a name but it spoke into her mind as she died, "I Can feel your anger, do you want to get back at those that wronged you?" With the last bit of her life, she said yes before blacking out. When she awoke she was still chained to the anchor at the ocean floor, yet she could breathe underwater the beast that spoke to her was gone but her anger remained. She broke free of the chains and walked her way back to land, dragging the anchor behind her as a reminder of her mission.

She survived on land for some time and traveled around looking for Eric Dunken the man that started it all first. Kajira joined a mercenary gang to travel around more easily only to later be betrayed yet again only adding another person to her list. Even after her betrayal, she found herself sticking around the other survivor Sarah Volkov. To her, Sarah is the only person in this cruel world that she can trust and will only ever listen to her.
