POKE! (not the way you think)
Just a quick little bit I had to doodle up based on convos with teh hubby. I don't even know how long it'll be before this would come up in the main comic, but Craig has been recruited to do some work for Drake.
And it's a further exploration of Craig's personality. He's cute and very pleasant, but he can be a bit of a...headache at times, even (especially?) when following directions.
Also wanted to explore Drake's redesign a bit more. More fins, less spike. Honestly it reminds me more of hair and I think helps him look a bit more Scottish, if that helps. And in case you're wondering, he's drinking tea...out of a flowerpot. Cuz teh hubby drinks tea in essentially the same quantities.
I've debated putting limited color in these comics. One running gag is that Craig's goatee ends up different colors (he's naturally blond), as he dyes it varying colors as he pleases, often seasonally.
As any Parks & Rec fans may guess, this was somewhat inspired by this...

So wait, where is Drake sitting? It's hard to tell. Also, I think it's adorable that he drinks tea out of a flower pot... and it's made even cuter that that detail has been based off teh hubby. ;D
I like Drake's new design, very handsome! And that he has run-in's with Craig is perfect. XD
That is an interesting idea that Craig dyes his goatee different colors (and the limited color idea reminds me of Sin City and Pleasantville).

Oh gosh, he always has different colored goatee's. Reminds me of a joke with "Scott Pilgrim vs. The Universe"'s Ramona.

Haha, I thought Drake was making soup at first. But it's cool that he's a tea drinker, like me. And drinking out of a flowerpot. That shows that he really loves his gardening. A tall, buff, fierce looking dragon like him has a humble side for flowers. Sweet!
It also looks like Drake is under a table. Probably to get away from Craig.

In Vince's universe, male and female species' data always 'holds true'. If you're a male tiger and a female rabbit that has a child, if it's male it'll be a tiger, and if it's female it'll be a rabbit.
If the species involved are 'close' like a tiger and a house cat, some cross-sexual species genetic exchange can occur.
Very rarely, the genetic sexual filter breaks down entirely, allowing for all genes to exchange. In approximately one in 3.2 billion births, this allows for one viable expression that can live....

ROTFL! This is frickin' hilarious and cute in so many ways! I don't care if he's annoying, Craig is really becoming a new fave for me.
