Current artwork again! Related to those car concepts I've been faffing around with lately, this is the logo for StarDragon Racing Technology. SDRT being the high-performance subsidiary of the parent company StarDragon Automotive. This SDRT logo is what you could expect the badge to look like on the back of any of their cars, as well as probably appearing in decal form on the sides of any competition racing cars of theirs.

I started on this in Paint, fought with things for a while, dragged it into PaintShop Pro 5 briefly and fought with it a bit more, went back into Paint until I was nearly happy with it, took it into IrfanView to try and sort out the colors and edges but instead ruined it a little bit, then finally dragged the whole thing into OpenCanvas to stick with what I'm better at and did all the shading and shiny stuff by hand. The moral of the story is that I'm really not very well-equipped for working with logo designs and other things that require straight lines and selecting odd shapes and stuff... but I made it work.
