The series of amur leopard photos continues. I can't help myself. In this one there's licking. Who doesn't love a good leopard licking photo? Da tongue is pink. Have you all ever had your cat try to groom you? I bet this leopard's tongue is all the rougher. Yipes. Yet we kind of dream we could have as close a relationship with a big cat like this as we do our pets. I like my skin though. ;)
This, as with previous photos, was taken on Dec. 31, 2020, at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. I need to check their names as I can't remember them now. I think there is a pair, a single male and female, that switch between the enclosures.
As I mentioned with the previous leopard photos, this was taken through a fence. So the focus can only manually be adjusted so much to cause the links to fade. It's almost faded out of focus enough not to be noticed here. My camera lacks IBIS, so maintaining manual focus from that far away while holding it by hand means sometimes I get better results than others.
Feedback is always welcome and helps give me ideas of what you all are interested in seeing. Thanks for viewing.
