It's unfortunate for feral Eternal that he probably does look like a rather juicy morsel and not many can manage to resist Kaa's hypnotism, though I would imagine that the snake might want to play with his hypnotised prey for a while, so someone might come along and manage to rescue him, though hopefully not someone whom might also think of him as prey.
