Okay, it's 1 am and I have to get up in a couple of hours for work so I'm slapping this up here and calling it done. I've had the flat colors done for this for about a year now and I figured I better do something with it. Once again, the background was thrown in as an after-thought and wasn't pre-planned. I ended up basing it off of Charley's apartment above the garage, which is an odd combination of blue cement colors and wood. If I wasn't so tired I probably would have played around with the color balance a little more to make it feel a little more harmonious, but I'm gonna try to get into the habit of doing character drawings with environment anticipated and planned for. I used my typical mixture of gradient and soft light layer shading, but also did some grayscale value shading which I plan on trying to play around more with in the future.

Anyway, more hopeless romantic stuff for all the other VinniexCharley crazed fans out there. Ever since writer/producer/director Tom T. told us they 'eventually do it' XD speculation has run wild as to the where's and when's and how's. I've got plenty of my own little scenarios mapped out on paper :)~

*zomigod I just realized that when I flattened down all the layers, I accidently deleted the one with the highlights in his eye. XD agh agh agh too tired to fix it now, will switch it out later XD Fixed
