Written, initially, for the CaliFur 2K7 Conbook. Then I realized I had no idea where to submit such a thing. So now I can place it here.

These characters have names, and expanded personalities, but rather than be spoileriffic in this story, I gave the bare minimum of information. Species, occupation, ideology. A Transhumanite, a Superman, and a Neo-Grotesque. Proving that the same general goal gets bogged dow in the details.

As a side note, in the actual plotline, these people not only never meet, but would probably kill each other outright without ever contemplating cooperation.
