This is a gift for a very special friend of mine who's been having a rough 2010. It's her birthday next month so I want to surprise her with this. I think I'm safe uploading it here. ;)
She loves horses, so the subject was unquestionable, but she's also Irish and it's time she had some good luck. "The Luck of the Irish" is a term used both negatively and positively depending on where the user sites its origin from.


I tried something new with this. I painted the linework with a small brush and some black ink. I need a little practice because the lines are a bit wobbly. DON'T drink caffine if you want a steady hand - well it gives me the shakes anyway. Also, just watercolour, no pencils this time. I would like to offer commissions of this nature.
