A silly lil' comic born out of the amount of comments and messages I still get about people who miss the "old me."
It was endearing, even cute, in the first few months when I started my brand change. But it's been years now. At this point it's just holding onto an idea of me that isn't coming back.
There are tons of artists out there who create cute, wholesome, expansion content. I make different stuff now.
And for everyone else- I'm glad you've been enjoying the ride!

Yeh, I considered leaving the fetish art community a few years ago. But decided, instead of forcing myself to make just one type of content- I'd rebrand myself and make what I wanted.
There are people who miss when I used to just make one type of content without any emotional nuance or dark themes.

I was one, but as time went on you carved your own space in the community, and you definitely became a good story teller, and it makes your once in a blue moon Wholesome stuff mean so much more, it's your style and your choice, look forward to see more from you
Again love your work past and present

In the art community, especially niche ones, it's easy to feel like just another creator if you don't feel like you stand out. Especially if your tastes start to change but instead of trying something new you keep forcing yourself to stay in a single genre.
Breaking out and making your own brand in the end is the most rewarding part <3

i think, if anything, u just wanted to create art/porn/"media" with meaning and depth and.... for lack of a better term.... A Thought-Provoking Message....
and these older fans didnt go to you for that kind of stuff... they became fans cuz they liked your "immediately validating" "unchallenging" dessert stuff that served as pure escapism from stress in their lives... not the more filling, flavorful full-course meal stuff that u tend to do now.....
but theres plenty of other artists out there doing guilty-pleasure chocolatebar porn, you know? if anything, the majORITy of smut artists make stuff thats, well, 100% masturbatory.... the world doesn't need you to do more of that necessarily; i think the more complicated, more emotionally-turbulant works that u do now are usefully filling a pretty underdeveloped niche in the sexy-art-world

Sort of- I wanted to start making porn that wasn't just "happy" or "cute." Meaning doesn't necessarily come along with it, sometimes it does. But "dark" doesn't automatically mean "mature."
And yeah, there are lots of creators out there, ready to fill any emotionally cathartic niche you could want! <3

okay... yeah, i apologize for suggesting that your darker works need to fully-explore a philosophical discourse or anything like that.... that kind of expectation would be weird to push on you!!! your art is your art; im just a fan of it so it wouldnt be right of me to pressure it one way or another. although, in practice... capitalism tends to pressure artists to sacrifice their artistic goals to give fans what they want LOL
i personally have trouble using darker works as guilty-pleasure dessert stuff/stress-reducing escapism, but i need to remember that other people have different emotional dynamics/needs/interests/wants/pasts/experiences than me!
just make the art that your heart wishes was already out there for YOU to look at, i suppose, and hopefully the other stuff (external validation, economic stability, nontoxic attention/fans who arent scumbags) will roll in. and when it doesnt, no shame in doing other stuff so that it WILL roll in... and that includes ventcomics/making art to export your feelings onto a page!!!!
“build it, and they will cum”
