I had to do a sanity painting today. Something loose and quick and unplanned. So I took the same route as my "Of Inle," and "Schrodinger" paintings - just let the paint do it's thing on a smallish scrap of paper.
I'm in love with fictional wolves. The actual animal (canis lupus) is dandy, and I like them as I like many animals. But I love the wolves of folklore - the dark, often villainous beasts of human imagination. Big bad wolves rock.
I love how it looks like there's a heart above his butt.

How big is it? I really love it. it feels very much like "This is the thing that you've heard/read about that you REALLY don't want to meet in the woods." I love the white teeth and the eyes. they're very solid amid the rest which is slightly fuzzy as stuff out of nightmare often is...except the teeth. oh god, the teeth :D
