My phone can surf via G3 or wi-fi so I had it search for hotspots. The bar has an open access point I could get from the parking lot when I took the photo.
On the right of them is a motel that showed 4 points but they were locked. On the left is the cinema and they show one that is locked.
Behind me is a coffee/pizza place and they show one open point. Two others did not ID who they were.
The coffee/pizza place is Beansters/Pizza Factory, not a Starbucks.

Most places I have run into like that do not sell time, they give a code to the guest only good for the length of their stay. So access is free with the room. Seems wi-fi is getting to be a pretty standard offering for hotels and motels now. In 2007, the last time I could afford to go to MFM, I found a roadside rest area in Texas with free wi-fi. Two actually, one on the east bound and one on the west bound I-40.
Even made a sale of some books to one of the attendants.
