Just trying to teach myself how to draw furry.
I copied (not traced) this from drawfurry.com. I followed the 3 or 4 steps and this is how it came out. Over the next week or so, I'll be doing stuff like this until I'm finally confident enough to draw without a reference.

Thank you very much, but this isn't that special. You see, this is basically a copy. If I draw as I'm looking at something, the drawing will look very close to that something, but if I'm drawing completely freehand, it's not that good. You can see that in my recent drawings at hunterlawolf.deviantart.com
As, someone once said "draw what you see, know what you see, draw what you know".
It's always worth using references when you draw. Whether it's to see what a pose looks like (check pose-manics out), to get animal parts / anatomy right, or just to realise what something looks like. Even 'toons should be based on correct anatomy at some point.
It looks like you have a lot of potential, this came out really well. :3
