yeah, an ordeal since i have to keep spending because of my school supplies

that black Wii looks awesome. Shame I got the white one well before the black one was going to be coming out. ^^;

I got the Black one by trading in my Wii to Gamestop when the deal for the trade-in was in effect

I was thinking of trading in my Elite 360 to get a slim...but I'm on the fence as for if it's worth it or not =/ I don't play my xbox anywhere as much as my PS3.

your 360 could be discounted depending on what you have.

I traded in my 360 with a 60 GB Hard drive, wireless controller, headset, and wireless adapter, and got over 200 dollars off. I had a Gamestop Edge card with 136 dollars on it, and only spent 80 of it when i paid, and the console is worth 300 dollars.

Better trade it in while the deal is still on, because it lasts until July 11th

I have a friend who works at a game stop, so I'll ask him about it; I've got a X360 Elite with a 120GB HD and a wireless adapter and one wireless controller.

Also, I live in B.C. (Canada), so I don't know if they'll have the same offers here; But we'll see =)

yeah, the new one is quieter, has a built-in WiFi, has a 250 GB hard drive in the bottom, and is being discounted if you trade in your old console and the accessories with it at Gamestop

So wait, the 360 S is out already? I heard about it from someone talking about E3; I didn't realize it was out already!

yeah, it came out the 17th. So i went to Gamestop to trade mine it at about 11 AM and traded in my old one, with some accessories, got major discounts for what was included (discounts can be found on Gamestop.com), and got it, after spending some money on my Edge card of course and saves some money.

yeah, the same day they introduced it, they had already shipped it, so i had to get it the day it came out.

Dang, I wish I had known. So how's it running with its nifty internal wifi adapter?

I'm also curious how its failure rate is, since there's no red lights in its ring of light.

The only bad thing is i am stuck on Halo 3 in Heroic. The Wi-fi runs fine too.

Burning question, how well does tranfering data from the old 360 to the new one work? I heard a while ago that some of the data is saved to the motherbored and not the harddrive, but it's probably wrong.

i didnt do that process.

The only hing i am glad about is my gamertag could transfer to the new one.

How does that work? I've only ever transfered data to a bigger harddrive

i just typed in my gamertag as soon as i went through the process of installing it.

The Hard Drive is built into the bottom.
