Surprisingly there was no plan or structure going in to this, other than one goal to make it with simple yet colourfully fun so its pleasing on the eye, without any of those pesky distracting details.
Also, same - I'm usually not the type that gets too sentimental or stuck on a tune, but that one struck a cord with me at that time, the acoustic version especially!

Thank you! I tried my darnest to convey the feelings of the time. Which were...rather care-free and comfortable. Its nice to turn off your brain once in a while - no thinking or planning how to tackle the artwork... just let the hand do the painting, one brush stroke at a time.
