Katerina and Kevin of Ossington - by Geier
"My handsome little Knight has returned! Was your quest a successful one?" Katerina asked, noting how her kitten rushed to her with that silly wooden sword of his in hand and how his tail was a blur behind him.
"Yes! I have slain a Mighty Dragon!" Kevin said, beaming with pride even as he brandished his 'blade'. In truth he had found a stone near the stream hat had looked vaguely like a dragon's head in the boy's mind and smacked it senselessly... but that didn't much matter.
"A Dragon? Goodness me! Such an act of Heroism surely deserves a reward! What is it you desire my beloved?" She asked, reaching a hand outwards to ruffle her son's hair.
"Hmmm... I want to cuddle!" Kevin said rather as-a-matter-of-factly to his mother even as he 'sheathed' his blade and took hold of her hand with both of his own, a rumbling purr uttering forth from him as he looked up to his mother.
"Cuddle? I certainly hope your intentions are Honorable, good Sir Knight!" She said, giggling warmly as she kept hold of her son's hand, and led him home towards the small hovel the pair of them shared.. It wasn't much but to the both of them, it was their Castle.
A picture that I sadly forgot to upload! I was feeling down due to some personal issues and Geier graciously whipped up this picture at my request, featuring a 'revival' of sorts of a Tigress character of mine that has gone through many iterations over the years, with her son who is the property of a good friend of mine (who will remain anonymous unless they decide otherwise).
I opted to have them done up in the same sort of style and setting as another Character of mine to begin to assemble a cast of characters that could be present in 13th century Medieval England during the reign of King John, just before the First Baron's War. Think a more 'realistic' depiction of Disney's Robin hood that keeps the animal people, tones down the silliness, and sticks closer to historic depictions of persons from the setting.
Be sure to go give Geier some love!
