wow was this an experiment or what?
this went from a small stupid sketch into a full blown drawing that i'm really proud of.
I was trying to work with darker tones and use of multiple colors, a more painterly style than my usual, and I quite like it :) This was hella fun to draw and color, everything turned out the way I wanted.
This shows Gem and her faithful scythe Zenbi and demon that's now fused with Gem's soul. I wanted to show how Zenbi is a part of Gem in every way, he makes up her clothes and can create a jacket-like void that lets her create multiple weapons including Zenbi as a scythe. He feeds off blood and gains power from it.
