So, i was looking through the archives and i found the original sketch for this pic and to be honest, i really like how it turned out and it gives me a chance to talk about how i make pics.
First of all, since the middle of 2020, i started sketching in blue and red pencil, mainly so i can scan i rather easily and get rid of the lines in Photoshop and Illustrator. That and plan an image more easily, since i'm doing the shapes and posing with those colors and after that i start to build up the character (you can even look how that progress goes in some elements like the belt and arms.
Second, after that i do some inking, this is optional, but i wanted to do something traditional for a while, so i had to do it. In this pic, i used nothing more then a sharpie and some 0,2 and 0,8 inking papers. All of that for...
Third part. I scan this and get rid of the blue construction lines, leaving the pic almost completely black and white. After that i vector it through my settings on Illustrator and now, i have my digital line work directly onto my computer, the main problem here would be the sometimes iffy translation of some lines, so i can't really do a lot of those small details like the shading i did here, in the pic it ended up looking rather messy.
After that, it's just coloring using the vectors as line art, coloring the character and shading it on Firealpaca and if it's a detailed pic, i do the background on Krita.
And yeah, that's all the works that comes on a pic, it usually takes me about an hour or 3 per pic depending on the pic, comics and multiple characters pic usually take more time because in some cases, it's more easy to draw the characters separetevely, that way i can have more control on them.
Fun detail: Most of these pics were done either with the soundtrack for JC Superstar or the Charlie and the Chocolate factory west end cast recording
