So they actually let him go? Surprising and heartening. It seemed like they were going to try screwing him over in the last story, glad to see it getting more upbeat.

Once he had been taught how to use his collar and adapt to having it around his neck properly he was indeed released to go about his life.
Can't take the collar off him sadly, but he is as free as he can be now.
