I've recently got a new computer, a Surface Pro this time, and backed up just about everything I have. I've worked hard to prepare myself for work, school, and keeping this new thing maintained. But sadly...the old laptop has passed away. It couldn't take much more last I was using it. Opening Firefox or any browser for instance took too much power. It was too slow to start up despite not running that many programs, if any. The physical material (keypad, hinges, disc drive, and mouse pad) was deteriorating. And the poor battery no longer works on its own. It's a permanent state of life support, unable to go without a plug for 5 minutes. So my options were, either take it and repair it somehow (which could take a lot of money to pull off), deal with it even though its practically dying, sell it (which isn't too good an option either since the computer is old and its on life support like I said), smash the thing, or just wipe the slate clean and use it as backup.
I chose the latter, and now it's being completely reset with none of my files or programs. The OS is the same, yeah, even though this laptop was originally a Windows 8 computer upgraded to 10. But that's it. I've had this baby for 8 whole years now and I'm sure as hell gonna miss it the way it was. And I'm especially upset since this is the only HP product I've had besides a printer that has lasted this long. Period. Every other thing has been complete trash for one reason or another. So I'm proud it's made it this far and I've done so much on it. It was the computer I've started out with on Deviantart with How to train your Hero and its the one that ended with Toon Wars: Legacy. Big record right there.

Cruel thing to phrase, but its not gonna be thrown out like I said in the description. I'm wiping it clean of data and reusing it for something else. Whats dead about it is that it can no longer handle anything my new one can. So I'm gonna give the old thing some respect and care :)
