This version of Starlight was inspired by  Mittens’s Heroverse.

Brief backstory:
Orphan babies left on doorsteps is about as cliche as origins get. At least that’s what Berry thought when she found a young infant Starlight on her doorstep. Raised by a Goodra his whole life, he was taught to always use his natural gifts to help people, never for evil. His kind adopted mother is the prime reason he hasn’t’t turned to the dark side.
He one day got the idea to try being a hero after witnessing one of the many confrontations between the hero Mittons and the villainous Rubber Baron. And his first thought was, “That looks fun.”
Not the most noble of reasons, but from then on, he donned a mask and suit and became Victory Star. One would think that being the only shiny Victini in the city, his secret Identity would be discovered quickly, but to his surprise, that was not the case.
Despite being a hero with a good track record for saving lives, Victory Star has earned a bit of criticism for making a show out of his rescues. Fighting villains with style and flare. Such criticisms fall deaf on his ears as he loves his style of hero work. He doesn’t lose often, though when he does, it’s either because the villain took advantage of his weaknesses or his own cockiness. Usually both.
