This character here is Nyphall! He's the father of a father/son duo of gryphons that I have. Nyphall was raised in a more tribal society, but after a lot of run-ins with more civilized folk during his youth, he realized that his people wouldn't be able to survive in the long term unless they also began to gather together and found a society. Thus, he set out to unite some disparate clans of gryphons to found a city of their own in the otherwise untamed land they'd been living in. He's since left running the city of Highpeak to his son, though he'll still pitch in and help if it's needed. Even if Lirak complains about it!
