What are the Skelly Jellies?
Skelly Jellies, or Skeljels for short, are slime creatures with bones inside them to give them a shape.

They are magical creatures formed from algae and water, giving them this jello-like substance. They are born round or shapeless, and acquire their bones from hunting and scavenging.

They can collect or drop bones at will, changing their body whenever they wish to.

Are they sapient?
Yes! They have intelligence and can communicate! Their whiskers and fins display emotion mostly.

How do they reproduce?
They mostly reproduce asexually by detaching a piece of themselves into a pond with the ideal environment. The detached piece might not always grow into a Skeljel.
They can also reproduce sexually. Which is… you know how it goes.

Can they have metallic parts?
No, they can't. Metal can rust and be detrimental to their health.

Can they get ill? How do they die?
I have not thought of a lot of things that can get them ill yet.
They do fear polluted water and drought however.
