The focus of this prompt is to do a short story of "about 1000 words" with the prompt: Lyrics revisited— find a song and write a story that involves one or more lines of lyrics. The song I selected was "Gods and Monsters" by Lana Del Rey. See if you can locate the lyrics!

Oddly enough, Ch 8 of this story which included William and his Raven was the part 1 post for a lyrics-based writing prompt! For those of you familiar with my "The Gift" story you will doubtlessly recognize some of the characters. In this chapter William and Raven have another date night, return to their preferred location, and have another deep discussion about the nature of their relationship. Things progress.
